CoolSculpting contours and improves the appearance of moderate to severe submental neck fullness, sometimes referred to as a “double chin” or “turkey neck” without use of needles or other invasive procedures. Double chin is a common, yet under-treated aesthetic condition that is often resistant to diet and exercise alone and influenced by several factors, including aging, genetics and weight gain. After the fat is gone, we have the technology to tighten the loose skin using lasers or radio frequency technology.

How many treatments do I need?
Many Allure MD Spa patients are satisfied after one treatment. However, during your consultation, we can discuss a treatment plan that will meet your specific treatment needs.
What happens during the treatment?
To initiate the treatment we will position the device on your body. The device will then draw the bulge up between two cooling panels. The sensation is a firm pull and pressure – enough of a pull to ensure the selected tissue will be cooled most efficiently. An hour or so later, depending on your needs, you’re done.
Can I return to normal activities after the procedure?
CoolSculpting is completely non-surgical, so typically you can return to normal activities immediately. Some patients experience redness, minor bruising, tingling, numbness or discomfort in the treated area, but this is temporary and will resolve completely. Often times, patients return to work after the session is over.
When will I see results?
Many Allure MD Spa & Wellness Center patients start to see changes as quickly as three weeks after their treatment. Most will experience the most dramatic results after one to three months. Your body is still flushing fat cells and will continue doing so for up to four to six months after treatment.
Are the results permanent?
During CoolSculpting the treated fat cells are eliminated. As long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle, long-term results should remain stable.
How does CoolSculpting compare to other similar devices?
The controlled cooling of the Zeltiq Procedure targets and eliminates only fat cells. Other treatment modalities such as lasers, radiofrequency, and focused ultrasound affect fat cells and may affect other adjacent tissue in a way that is not comparable to the Zeltiq method of cryolipolysis.
How much does CoolSculpting cost?
An individualized treatment plan will be developed during your consultation. Cost will vary from patient to patient depending on the number of treatments, areas to be treated, and your ultimate goals.
What will the results look like?
You should see noticeable reduction in the size of the fat bulge in the area treated. Many patients are satisfied after one treatment. Some patients decide to have a second treatment a few months later to further enhance their results.
